Biology Olympiad Club

We are a student-run club at Stanford Online High School dedicated to preparing for biology olympiads and deepening our understanding of the life sciences. Come join to tackle questions on your favorite topics ranging from genetics to physiology and ecology! If you put in the hard work, you can also have the opportunity to represent the United States in the premiere biology competition for high school students, the USA Biology Olympiad (USABO). As a space for collaborative growth and problem solving, no prior experience is required: just a love for biology. We will study different areas of the exam and bring questions to meetings to answer as a group. Anyone interested in Biology (or taken a Biology course before) is especially encouraged to join!

Participating in the Biology Olympiad acts as a wonderful extracurricular activity to build your science skills, to deepen your knowledge of biology beyond the classroom to better succeed in college, to make new and old friends with similar interests, and to help build a science spike for college applications.

We meet every week on Fridays at 10 a.m. PT, and we hope to see you then!
